I am currently a third-year Information Technology student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I have been interested in technology since I was a young kid, learning how to create websites. I now have passion engaging and helping the community, through technology. I am also interested in food, travel, and music.
In Ngee Ann Polytechnic, I scored an A+ for two programming modules (PRG I & PRG II), and a B+ for Mobile Applications Development and Interactive Development (HTML/CSS/JS).
During my time in the Institute of Technical Education, I attained a GPA of 4.0, earning the Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal Award and Gold Course Medallist and two Director’s List. I also received other numerous awards like Anugerah Mendaki, 4PM Bestari Award, ITE-SBR Youth Eco Award, and achieved the “Best Solution to Problem Statement” medal in the 3D-Tronics Challenge.
Recently, we engaged a new asset vendor to help Workato with laptop onboarding/offboarding. This complicated matters as Vendor A may service the US, Singapore, Japan, but Vendor B services the EU, Georgia, Armenia, etc.
Hence, I created a asset management framework for the internal support team to ease the request creation process. This framework handles the logic for the countries where the vendor services at.
In future revisions, I intend to connect Jira Service Desk to the project. This helps to seamlessly create asset requests once the details are confirmed and approved in the Jira ticket.
We created an e-commerce custom PC site using HTML, CSS & JavaScript that we learnt through our module.
I mainly handled the back-end JavaScript like connecting the database to the site, working the cart system and more.
We focused on creating a chatbot that will help users navigate in the ITE Student Portal. Using the UiPath inbuilt chatbot, we integrated it with Google's Dialogflow for the logic process.
Over 3 months at ITEHQ, I managed to complete 6 projects as part of their digitalisation move to improve and streamline the processes.
I used UiPath Studio to create all my projects. I've learnt a lot on how these projects have to be created: doing User Acceptance Testing, writing User Guides and more.
I've also learnt about how to make simple log files with the 'Append Line' feature in the software.

My team and I participated in the ITE Data Analytics Competition. We chose to focus on the topic "Can we adopt a zero-waste lifestyle?". We used the data visualisation software Tableau to plot our graphs from dataset websites like data.gov.sg, singstat.gov.sg, OECD and others.
Even though my team and I did not get a placing in the finals, this was a fun and good learning opportunity to be introduced into data analytics.
